Day 56 - Fun with Balloons
When we went to visit Mike's work on Friday Daniel received balloons from Mike's boss. All I have to say is that they never left his hands until the red one "flew" away.

Day 55 - Meet the Bunny!
Today our town had a "Meet the Bunny" event which we took Daniel to. In a word - he did AWESOME and the outing was soooo much better then meeting Santa. Here is Daniel actually sitting on the Easter Bunny's lap.....

After our visit to the vet for KC we stopped by Mike's work for a visit. Apparently Daniel has no problem sitting behind a desk....

Day 52 - New Uses for Breathing Tubes...
Recently Daniel has been playing with the tube that is used to connect to an air bag that we had when he had his trach. He uses the tube to make elephant sounds, which is quite funny, and shoots cotton balls out of it, another funny little thing. Yesterday I finally got smart and connected the ends together and made a circle. A good lesson for shapes, however, Daniel thought it was more fun to wear it. It was so much fun for him, he fell asleep with it. Hence, this photo....

Day 50 - Trains, Trains and Trains
Mike's sister Lori handed down the train table that Mike made her kids to Daniel. This weekend we finally took it out and it was an instant hit. Can't you tell....

Day 49 - A Roaring Good Time
For Christmas my sister's family got Daniel a tunnel to keep him crawling since he walked and crawled all at the same time. (Our PT person wants him to keep crawling for a bit more to help develop his upper body and apparently crawling is a HUGE development stage that no baby should miss. ) We haven't been able to put it all together as of yet since this is the tunnel she got him....
Luckily the weather has started to turn so we able to bring it outside and got this reaction out of Daniel...
I think we have got a winner!!!

As if you could not tell, Daniel loves the camera and last night he was just being silly with hats and sock mittens. He is also becoming a little chatterbox, which we are so happy about. Gotta love hiccups on little ones. Enjoy.
