This afternoon we visited friends who have a house on a lake and of course we did some fishing. Each of us caught something and Daniel even enjoyed his first boat and paddle boat rides. A good day all around!!

With a beautiful Sunday unfolding we took a walk to the pond just next to our house yesterday morning and tried our hands at fishing. Our town has an annual "fishing derby" at this pond and it is quite hysterical to see hundreds of little ones trying to catch the "One" each year around Memorial Day. Apparently we should have gone this year as Daniel was quite successful. (We threw the fish back after the photo was taken.)
